About Us:
Owner, Ross Seymour, originally moved to the United States for a swimming scholarship at Oklahoma State University. After becoming an All-American collegiate athlete, he represented Australia in swimming at the 1976 Olympics in Montreal, Canada. He then received his Master's Degree from Florida State University.
Recognizing his true passion for aquatics, he created Swimming Pool Management Systems, Inc. in 1083. In 2003, he expanded S.P.M.S. to the build the DuPage Swimming Center, which is currently the home offices of S.P.M.S. and its sister company, Pool Guards, Inc.
Nora Schroeder graduated from North Central College with a degree in Biology. She swam in high school at Naperville North, and college at North Central University. She has coached U.S. club swimming for the past 20 years, and presently coaches 11-12 year olds for Maverick Swim Club. She is currently in charge of Pool Guards, Inc.
Ashley Seymour graduated from the University of Miami of Ohio with a degree in Sociology. While there, she was a member of the MAC All Conference team all four years. She was an 18 time All American in high school, where she held 4 state records and 2 national titles. She currently teaches private swim lessons at the DuPage Swim Center, and aids in curriculum development.
Lauren Seymour graduated from the University of Louisville with a degree in Justice Administration and Sociology. While there, she was a four time Academic All American in swimming, and also received The Outstanding Senior Scholar Athlete of the Year Award. She then earned her Law Degree from Seattle University School of Law. She is a Lesson Coordinator and also teaches private lessons at DuPage Swim Center.
Cory Mantei graduated from Waubonsee Community College in 2010 with his EMT certification. He has been a competitive hockey player since the age of 6. He is currently the head lifeguard and CPR instructor for DuPage Swim Center and Pool Guards Inc. He is also a district manager for Pool Guards Inc. in the Summer.
Sally Egan graduated from Northeast Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Minor in Aquatic Facility Management. She was a competitive swimmer for 15 years. She is currently Associate Manager and Head of Accounting for the DuPage Swim Center. She is also a certified Water Safety Instructor through the American Red Cross.
